Paragliding, Camping and Trekking in Bir Billing in Himachal

Its very famous tourist place name Bir Billing which is loated in Near Dharhmshala in Himachal.  First paragliding World Cup organized in 2015 by An international paragliding competition will be organized at Bir (Baijnath) from 24-30 October by Paragliding World Cup Association (PWCA).
There are many paragliding pilots from all over the world and its also great full for local who are participate. Also, Bir Billing not popular for paragliding but also other adventure like Trekking, Mountain Biking and camping etc.



How to reach Bir Billing in Kangra?

Billing is 14Km or an hours’ bumpy jeep, taxi or van ride from Bir. The beginning point is in front of Cape Amaho in the Chaughan Tibetan colony at about 10 am every morning during the season.

Air: Kangra has its own local airport at Guggal, which is 7km clear of Kangra town and around 40 km from Palampur. There are straightforward flights from Delhi to Guggal.

Rail: Pathankot is the nearby railhead. There is an overnight train available from Delhi to Pathankot. From Pathankot, Palampur is linked by tapered guage railway. One can also opt for a bus or taxi to Bir from Pathankot.

Road: There are average, semi-deluxe or deluxe buses accessible from Delhi and other main towns of Himachal Pradesh to Dharamsala, Palampur, Jogindernagar, Baijnath or Mandi.
